Yes, there are battling powers up at the top. Plural. And the way you have learned about the Illuminati guarantees that you will only be exposed to the users and abusers who hid out amidst a much bigger movement which was itself attempting to help humanity progress. This contemporary meme about the Illuminati as a gang of manipulative rich connivers is part of occult lodge politics, and as such has accumulated a lot of distortion as it has been passed along, game-of-postman-style, through the 1900’s.

Academics have a totally different definition for “the Illuminati”; this was originally a term used to represent the Philosophers of Light who developed a form of mystic spirituality during the Protestant Reformation, in particular in the lands that have since fallen to Germany. You see a cultural movement among the Christianizing alchemists of Lutheran faith, attempting to understand the ritual of the bread & wine in an alchemical way. So they are trying to reverse-engineer the Transubstantiation, and that leads them to the conclusion that the power to make this change comes when the wafer is held up to the Light, to draw in a magical prana from the Sun, thus allowing for a transformation which miraculously and magically turns it into the holy substance. When eaten, the Light goes all through the body and strengthens the soul. There is more to these ideas, of course, but in the history of religious and mystical movements in Europe, the Illuminati represents a certain strain of “western yogis”, who were thought of as the Pholosophers of Light. I think their era would be called “Baroque”.

Seems to me if you guys could put aside the prejudice coming from the modern faux-facts, and look into this body of alchemical philosophy, and then put the alchemists next to the modern fellows who are talking about the Noble Metals, monoatomic gold, rhodium, iridium, and etc., (which have also been the subject of the alchemists researches through the centuries), you would find a hidden trove of brothers in the Spaceweater quest, though just working with different equipment in different times.

It has certainly been disappointing to see the standard title of a well-respected group of German theosophical mystics become associated with a wholly other group of individuals, but this is how the wolves hide among the sheep. This very same violation has been done with the Masons. A few bad apples spoils the barrel, that’s the problem. It is easy to do because these groups tried to be discreet, and play their cards close to the vest (a necessity in an era when the Catholic censor could recommend anybody for torture and/or life imprisonment for a private conversation or a scrap of writing that leaked out.) They were trying to offer refuge to non-Christians in Europe, but the penalty was high for those who were discovered. The Catholic Church infiltrated everything, and some of the Church’s inner Orders were paramilitary and very invasive.

This is my field of research, so if there’s anything else I can help you with, let me know.

      Christine Payne-Towler,

Assuming that what you say is true, (I haven’t done my own due diligence yet) this only speaks to the roots and beginnings of the Illuminati. This may not be their current state.
My question to you is this, what is the current leadership structure look like? Who or how do you make contact with such an organization?
I have heard everything under the moon about the organization, with really no substantial way of knowing what was false and what was true.
How do you substantiate your research. What is your sources? I wish to do my own research.

Thanks for the info, Regardless! 🙂

I have impeccable contacts among the Masons, and you might also though you don’t know it because they won’t come forward as long as you
seem so totally down on their movement.

But in this virtual age, all of their published material can be found online, “leaked” through multiple sources. You can only hear the “insider talk” by joining, but to the largest extent, the modern Masons are a business club where the guys meet to eat, smoke cigars and drink, undertake charitable activities (and I mean REAL assistance meeting REAL needs), and solidify the middle classes. The old rules used to insist that the only people eligible for membership was a person who had grown a business large enough to support two families outside one’s own. We are talking about the people who are economic pillars of the community.

Check out the online resources, I’ll be glad to help your community catch up on context. In Europe the Church (Office of the Inquisition) made war on these guys because they were harboring and supporting folks of non-Christian descent and preserving ancient wisdom. All true.

The part that’s most important for space weather enthusiasts is that the Masons were originally the temple-builders, hence in possession of the mathematics of astronomy and geometry. Hence, the ancient scientists, builders, inventors, makers and doers all. The modern fellows are nice enough, but 98% of them have no interest in the astronomical arts and their applications. This was the guild materials for the ancient priestly class, around the world. Nothing to scorn or look down on, even NASA couldn’t get it right until they dug up the temple records of the Babylonian priests. You need thousands of years of sky observation before you can rest so smug and secure as our modern astronomers think they can!

There are no more “secrets”, the only thing that guards these gates is “manufactured belief”, anybody who can get past their own internalized boogieman can discover the larger world as it really is. Astronomy is the mathematics of the gravity-well, and the math we use for it on this planet can be transported to any other solar system and work just as well, to establish the calendar and denominate the laws of cycle. The same math governs the light spectrum and the sound spectrum. Yes, this is the “pearl of great price”, thrown away and rescued again through the millennia.

The real question is, who gave us this particular (sexagesimal) mathematics? Did we make it up, or was it taught us by our star-brothers?

        • Christine Payne-Towler
          Reply

Also, think about it, if the cat is out of the bag and all protections have failed regarding who gets to know about astronomy and all of its subsidiary (earthly) ramifications, then there is no stopping anybody who wants to, saint or sinner, from using these arts and gaining whatever benefit they can from it. So in that sense, of course there would have been people who learned what they could from the Masons (and Kabbalists, and Alchemists, and Hermeticism) of their era and then went out on their own, to fulfill their own personal plan. There’s nothing to stop anybody from using this self-evident model for whatever purpose one might have. I learned it without having to take any oaths or foreswear any “secrets”, because the materials are all available if you want to look.

          • Christine Payne-Towler

A perfect image of the sexagesimal math: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JAj2A9T_D38

Notice the way the outer 5-pointed stars denominate 12 points around the outside edge and 8 points around the interior figure. There is a HUGE amount of information being conveyed here.

This is all easily recognized by folks aware of the ancient discipline of Sacred Geometry. But if one don’t have that education under one’s belt, it would be easy to be caught up in the 5-pointed stars being “demonic”.

This is how we are rendered ignorant folks! Take away the ancient sciences and substitute church-created superstition from the Dark Ages, and we are immediately blocked from knowing what is right before our eyes.

My understanding is that if we are truly ONE, then the Illuminati is US. WE are the Illuminati.
In the human body, when a dis-ease develops, we’ve learned not to address the effects, but rather the cause. We’ve learned not to attack the dis-ease, but rather to improve the immune system and the health of the body, which will naturally rid itself of the dis-ease. It works the same way with the body of mankind. What we focus upon increases.

Too many have judged the Illuminati as evil, because they’ve heard that ‘the Illuminati worships Lucifer’; and Lucifer is evil because Lucifer is Satan, the Devil himself! LOL! Lucifer is actually the Light Bearer…symbolized as the Mind of Humanity. The purpose of the Mind is be the vessel through which the Light shines into the world. Satan is actually the mind when it is NOT being the bearer of the Light, but instead allows the Ego to control our lives and rule the day. So we can say that Satan is symbolized by the Ego, out from under the control of the Mind. Therefore…when we allow the Ego to rule our lives, all hell breaks loose! ANYtime the Ego determines our thoughts and/or actions, hell will ensue in one form or another.
We are HAARP? We’re also The Illuminati!
    Have I gone too deep?

Thats what I was going to say. It has been said that the light-workers are the real illuminati (to illuminate) and its been twisted into the Illuminati being bad so as to pump a lot of harmful energy towards the “good guys”

When authentic illumination exists, all divisiveness dissolves. The site you featured poses a challenge for some and an opportunity for some to take more personal responsibility for taking control of what they believe; their own power and lives. Just as we imagine corporations fight to hold on to power, individuals fight to hold on to their self identity with myriad attached concepts. ‘Lighten up’ benefits every one.

In a purely un-biased analysis…I’d surmise there’s been a change in leadership. The guiding philosophy seems to have changed from using secret brotherhood and fear as the main tenets to revealing the softer and more….illuminating….side of the group. The group still exists, and has the same basic philosophies….but the methods are different. The real motives may be different, but on first impression analysis it seems there’s been a regime change. And, it remains to be seen just how much of a coup occurred and whether it has any legs….
And, I don’t really see a lot of relationships with the current US administration, which may be a reason for the shift. A behind-the-scenes group likes to stay that way. No heavy handed controls. A nudge here….a word there….some silver crossing some palms anonymously…that’s how a real controller works.
IMHO….everybody, including the Illuminati/Masons/Light Bearers/Aliens/etc. got taken by surprise in the last US election. It’s like when you threaten someone with a gun, never really intending to use it…and it goes off accidentally….surprises *everyone* and everyone scrambles to fix it.

The Illuminati was founded in 1776 thus it is probably one of the most well known secret societies out there. Since it is surrounded by age, although reportedly disbanded in the later 1700’s, the interpretation of its function and belief that it still exist has kept the society alive and continually included into political and religious aspects ever since. I have no opinion as to whether it is good, bad or indifferent any more than any other secret society… for which there are many. Most people have no idea about truly secret societies that exist because they maintain their secrecy and remain undetected. But alas, secret societies will always grab peoples imagination by virtue of their mysterious existence, whether real or not. I take them all with a grain of salt.

The Illuminate are an organization that shows itself as beneficent but upon further inspection are just as greedy as any large conglomerate, they’ve just been around longer. I compare them to the Masons, outwardly a charity, inwardly they offer their members incredible deals at businesses that are owned by other Masons and accumulate wealth thereby. When dealing with these organizations there is always a price.

True Illuminati, Fake Illuminati, Pretend Illuminati; it’s all in MOTIVE.

    1. If I can FOOL an up and coming artist, elite, politician, etc. (someone coming into new-found power, money, & influence) into joining my “secret society”, with all the signs, handshakes, rituals, & levels, I can take them for ALL their worth; the ultimate pyramid scheme (pun intended).

    2. If I can INFLUENCE the masses into accepting a lifestyle, culture, or “norm”, because I am “ILLUMINATED” and know the “BEST” for the “UN-ILLUMINATED”, I can control them for good or evil; similar to all religions. Think of this new Illuminati push as an alternative to secular religions. This will be the NEW religion that accepts all, but still has the illuminate “high priests” to interpret and decree.

    3. If I can teach people to open their mind and see the beauty, the glory, and the power in the universe(s) that surrounds them and lead them on the path to “TRUE ILLUMINATION”, then we get closer to the truth. And the truth will set you free (and doesn’t cost anything – not even your soul).

So, bottom line on the evaluation of any person, entity, or group claiming to be “Illuminati” is MOTIVE!

    Hello Ben,
This is not your accustomed area, so as in all things unfamiliar, please take care and avoid jumping to conclusions. Religion and politics are not just deceptive realms, not just dangerous, but mimetically infectious, ruining not just individuals, but families and indeed entire peoples.

That said… Illuminism, that is to say illuminist cults (“cult” in the classic anthropological sense) historically stem ultimately from the Indo-Iranian world and culture. I call that time, and to some extent even current region the ‘Avestian’ era or culture. It is today the region known generally as Iran but easily included at times a much greater reach. Think of ‘the Magi’, zoroastrians, and today Druze and Shia cults and splinter groups.

Any society can have relatively secret, or restricted societies within it like warriour cults or priestly groups. What distinguishes these ‘illuminist’ groups that as I said ultimately stem from the Avestian tradition is that they are generally cults of reason and of revolutionary politics. The primary reason for that is that it was in that area of the world that the phenomena of ‘fundamentalism’ began (an anachronistic use of the term to be sure). These cults are among quite a number of things, inevitable pressure relief systems for societies that have excessively ridged moral political/religious structures. In other words, where you have, say, protestants, you will have, say, masons. Or on campus, greek fraternaties. The list is endless and once you see the pattern it is hard to miss. Moralist social structures lead inevitably to these groups. The original magian priestly class seems not to have been excessive in this way, but as the region turned to the very moralistic zoroastrianism the die was cast.

There are many more aspects to these things that I would not really want to discuss publicly but I will say that the general trend of these societies in the last couple centuries or so has been to go from your local mason lodge to things more akin to Yale’s secret fraternities, but then onward to… well… let’s just say ‘spirit cooking’. See the problem is that the whole fun of these things is to, lets say, break the rules. That’s easy in a moralistic society. Ironically, as the influence of groups like this spreads, becoming ever so slightly more public with each passing decade, they again inevitably de-moralize society. That is of course too harsh a term, but one I’ve chosen none-the-less. But you see, with that they must ‘rebel’ all the harder for there is now less moralism to rebel against. And of course, and this is critical, it is in the rebellion (against the public mores) that their identity as a group is necessitated upon. This is a very key point. As I may have already implied, in an excessively moralistic society cults, clubs, fraternaties like this might arguably be necessary, and indeed somewhat salutary. And good men will often belong to them. Think of the United State’s founders. But obviously by this point you can see that in an excessive immoral society such groups become… well… let’s just say excessive in their own right.

And to bring this around full circle, I suppose you can now see where “moralisms”, moral orders, fundamentalisms, etc…, come from. This cultural dialectic is one of the mainsprings of civilization (as we conceive of it) per se, the tensions engendered here could be said to be one of the main drivers of history as a linear rather then more stable or homeostatic (ie cyclic) process. Much social tension leads to much change. See! That’s simple. Rather illuminating, even.

Oh! My error. At the beginning of my previous post above, I didn’t mean make a blanket statement that all religion and politics are bad. I meant that if we take them the wrong way, things can go very wrong. Individuals or groups can then easily become very mindless and easy for the unscrupulous to lead to calamity.

    Hi Ben, and hi connectors,

Thanks for the interesting post and comments,

To me the question that Ben puts forward is the destuc change of search results. Only half a year back a search for “illuminati” would show up hundreds of critical results on the matter. It would come up with Bildenburg, nazies and conspiracyntheorists, with banisters multinationals and churches showing their dark side.

Now those results do not come up any more according to Ben,and I take his word.

So where does that leave our community. The greatest force at the moment is global warming and climate change. Man has to take it as religeon that is is caused by humans. We say the influence of the sun is the most significant cause and this may be unpopular to the extent that this site may not show up in any search results in the seeable future.

I just hope I am mistaken.
    Yours truly
    Rufus

    Community,

This post just leaves me with more questions.
Following Ben’s train of thought considering the possibility that there may be organizations battling for control. I have a few basic questions we need to answer if we are going to get any where close to answering this Scooby Doo puzzle.

    1. What are the other organization(s) battling?

    2. What are the organization(s) battling for? Otherwise what are the spoils of war? (exactly)

I strongly recommend the documentary Unacknowledged. It speaks to an underground government. It may be related. It is a good watch regardless.

Perhaps we should view “The Illuminati” as how Ben suggests we should view HAARP?

Like HAARP, the purported agenda of The Illuminati was declassified, although in a more forceful manner. So, *there* sits The Illuminati, an “enemy” served to us upon a silver platter. How much ink has been spent on the subject since then? How much stuff on the ‘Net is spent “exposing” them? How much do we get agitated about “them”? How crazy do we sound when we say “Illuminati”?

Meanwhile, where did their disciples go, if anywhere? What are they doing now, if anything? Illuminati 2.0? 3.0?

Two print resources, so you can understand the historical basics: The Religion of Light, by Arthur Vesrluis. Deceptively simple and short, this is an impeccably researched volume by a scholar of Western Mysticism. Gives context and insight into the history of the Illuminists, across cultures and times. It’s a very old strain of spirituality, the Masons are simply one relatively modern incarnation of this spiritual stream.

A modern response is entitled The Physics of Transfigured Light; The Imaginal Realm and the Hermetic Foundations of Science. By Leon Marvell, Ph.D.

Maybe there’s a reason why the Powers that Be want us to be afraid of those who seek the light?

So, Ben et al, how are you doing with your Masonic research. It might be shocking to realize that YOU ARE ONE, in particular because you are studying space and “doing the math” so to speak.

I made two videos a few years ago to talk about this sexagesimal math and how deeply embedded it is in our collective subconscious. The first one is probably most relevant to your question. Everything the Ancients learned is still with us now.

I’m one fritz springmeier fanboy away from destroy the entire perspective about the luminaries.
The original Illuminati was a group of scientists who disagreed with the way the church sees things,
The earliest recorded reference of this word Illuminati is a direct reference to “new Christin initiates”
The symbol for the Illuminati is a white owl.
The triangle and eye is enochian mysticism. Jewish mysticism.
