That can really happen? oh my what a ride

I subscribe to your prior theory.
The energy blast we get from the sun will do exactly what it currently does. It stops the earth rotation, not accelerates it.
Therefore the shift in rotation after the release is not the cause of “the wave(s)”. It is the stop when the massive energy release hits us.
Therefore the mountain regions will fracture, the sand and silt regions will liquify, the impact of the crust boundaries will have epic mountain building and rift spreading.
and last but not least… the water will come from the precise opposite direction of our current rotation.

of course that isn’t my theory, it is what they say happens when we get large solar events and the day is lengthened.

There is no way that an ‘energy blast from the sun’ strong enough to reverse the Earth’s rotation, won’t just blast our planet apart.

Remember these are cyclic events that we have survived many times before, and so has the planet.

That makes no sense, and that was NEVER my theory. It is one of the ideas that makes this stuff look silly.

    This makes sense.

Does the Coriolis effect alter the direction of Greenland’s movement at all? Perhaps into a curve?

OK, call me thick, but I’m confused. How does the internal skeleton of earth effect it’s tilting, once the planet is hit by the Sun’s particles? Does it serve as a stabilizing axis on which the Earth turns over? Does it preferentially absorb the energy, and tilt the Earth sideways? Are you saying the Earth tilts over when hit, around the axis of the mantle plumes in Africa and opposite Africa, then pops back upright again, with the poles reversed in polarity? I thought your concept was that the Earth did NOT tilt 90 degrees then go back to an upright position… and instead the rotation of the earth was reversed, and THAT is what caused the sloshing of oceans…I have watched all of your Catastrophe videos, but am still unclear about the mechanisms at work here, which position the crust goes, and where it ends up. Maybe its just me….

Laurie, that is Doug’s idea, and it makes no sense. Major white’s evidence and the observed current polar motion tell the more accurate story. I do not believe the earth stops and reverses.

Did you watch the previous episodes? They lead up to this one.

Yes. But will watch it again. Thank you for the clarification!

Well…..wow. Not sure if I want to see that happen….

Thanks for the upload Ben. I do like all the work of those trying to solve the puzzle. I don’t discount anyone’s ideas as it is anyone’s guess. Science does give us clues and one thing is sure, there were major events that occurred and probably will occur in the future which is why it is so fascinating.

Ok, I think I get what you’re saying now. The nova energy accumulates in the core and discharges from the poles, forming new core-mantle plumes (and dissolving the old ones?). So in this scenario, you’re saying the entire planet – mantle and core included – would flip 90 degrees? No unlocking of the lithosphere needed?

The plumes appear to be on on opposite sides of the planet, the Pacific full of them appears to be closely aligned with the equator, suggesting to me that it was the cause of the earth present position at the last catastrophe, should not be too hard to find ancient geology and weather zones from the past Africa would be a good place to look. It could also be possible the African plume could a line with the new equator during the next catastrophe like Ben is actually showing, African and Pacific plumes appear to be between 45 and 90 degrees alignment from each other which could set up a scenario where they fight each other for a while before one wins out over the other. I’m just thinking out loud again,
