I still think that looks like a Birkeland current…

Is anyone else seeing counter rotation? The upper part counter clockwise the lowest clockwise. This must have been in the Dakotas, they got hit hard yesterday and will get hit another few times until the end of the week. Scary yet beautiful.

Well spotted. Indeed, the lower one is almost like peristalsis rather than a clear rotation. There would a lot of people here in the UK (including me) who would need a change of underwear if that appeared in front of them!

Yup Yup Yup just like when you get static electricity with a balloon on a wall the charge on the wall is negative or positive in charge on the balloon is opposit but it’s on the surface of the wall and its on the surface of the balloon where the charge is so when the clouds are all deep but the energetic chain exchanges happening on that in the surface area thank you been always appreciate your show

You need to use punctuation to make your statements understandable.

It’s a truly awesome piece of footage, no doubt about it.
@Michael, yes I did spot the counter rotation – which IIRC is also a Birkeland Current signature isn’t it?
