Earthquake Condition Index B. In addition to today’s earthquake, I had not done a good job noticing the multiple volcanic eruptions during this otherwise-quiet quake watch, which counts for a lot of pressure release. We have coronal holes coming every few days, which complicates the process.
Solar Watch: M flare probability is 35%, X flare probability is 5% (Impulsive events without major CMEs are more likely than otherwise, and filament eruptions are more likely than both)
Solar wind speed dropping off – geomagnetic disturbance from this stream is over, barring an anomalous density spike.
