Update: 5:25pm Eastern Time – Spaceweather Update
Earthquake Condition Index B. The coronal fields are more-closed than expected… this is technically still an elevated watch (earth has been building too much pressure since 2013, literally, and even the recent uptick cannot come close to releasing it all) but the real story is coming. Mercury conjoins the sun in a few days, when the northern coronal hole faces earth. Spaceweather is on the way per tonight’s video… solid situation for an uptick at the end of the week.
Solar Notes: Can’t take me eyes off the new active region. However, filaments are popping and the incoming sunspots behind the central grower are capable of larger flaring as well.
