so with cold temperatures, less moisture in the air, will there be an effect on electrical charges? (thinking static electricity in winter)
Hi Joe.u, My expectation is yes, most likely you are correct. Actually it seems we might have already seen some foreshadowing of those sorts of ‘impulses’ which Ben brought to our attention(s) within the recent 2 to 4 weeks. Reference those truly Massive bolts of electrical discharges, earth to sky lightning discharges. If memory serves me well just now those discharges were in relatively ‘dry’ areas. The ‘cold’ temperatures need not have been at ground levels and could easily have been ‘aloft,’ hundreds or even thousands of feet (or meters) up above. Hang on tight, my guess is that the next 15 to 20 years here on planet Earth will be much akin to riding a bucking bronco! Woohoo, ride ’em cowboys and cowgirls! Hopefully, things will settle down by the year 2040 A.D. or thereabouts.
perhaps others have noticed an enlivening of internal impulses as well? would be interesting to know
Hit the information jackpot when I was researching ocean warming @ this site: plateclimatology.com.
I encourage you to check out this geologist, Jack Kamis’, extensive research on ocean warming and polar/glacial melt. He provides research supporting my suspicions about submarine volcanoes @ plate boundaries causing polar melting/climate change/migration disruption/biodiversity changes, etc.
He, too, politely struggles with his peers’ atmospheric bias with his conclusions of warming from below, as opposed to AGW.
All he is missing is the reason for increased heating from below…solar forcing! Both SO’s and Kamis’ working theories would be enhanced and fortified by incorporating each others findings, I think.
At the very least, check out his one hour summary video on home page.
Great graphics and explanations which soundly supports his theory and pokes some major holes in current AGW theory.
He’s a suspicious observer that doesn’t know it, yet😉
With all the planets getting torqued like crazy, it’s no wonder our hydro system is out of wack.
AMOC changes continuing and the northern Pacific is demonstrating the opposite trend with The Blob, a Mass of Hot Water (MHW) off the west coast of US. Could submarine volcanic activity be contributing to the upwelling of hot water in this area? It’s been growing since Sept ’19.

Or is it anthropogenic climate change?(eye roll) I kid…I’d blame underwater alien activity before accepting that 😉
We’re also seeing dramatic shifts in temperature in close geographical proximity to each other, and in the same geographical area. I’m a US Citizen living in UK with my British wife, and while I’ve only been here 7 years now, she has been her whole life. We’re seeing much warmer weather for period of time than the country normally gets, and when fall finally came in it shifted from some of the warmest wearther we get to teh colder fall regine it gets in just a few days. This is in a country that rarely sees such dramatic shifts in temperature beause of the ocean’s moderating influence. Last year and now this year they are becoming almost the norm. Time to stock up on longjohns me thinks!
