So what is going on with the temperature on earth at each stage? When the sun looks red will it be really hot on earth? And, when the sun goes black, will we all be beyond freezing? Yesterday, as soon as the sun set behind some trees, the temperature went down. I had to get a jacket. The chickens made a bee line to the roost. A major temperature drop when the sun was still visible, but filtered behind trees. By the way, with the sun filtered behind the trees, it looked white.
