Update: 7:00pm Eastern Time
Albania is shaking. USGS cutoff is 4.5 in Europe, and they have had about 10 smaller rumbles.
A couple rumbles have occurred in the South Atlantic as well.
Earthquake Condition Index B+. We have an earth facing coronal hole and incoming spaceweather. I would expect at least one 6 pointer in the next 36 hours.
We just took a small M flare, it came from the SE limb and will not be geoeffective.
We are still waiting for the coronal hole stream. All is calm.
You can see the dark coronal hole center disk, the bigger southern polar hole below. Try to spot the CME threat from one filament, and a proton storm threat from another!
The CME bottom left is from a limb filament – not geoeffective.
We have 3 developing regions, and NONE are near the biggest umbra. Try to spot them before tomorrow’s news!
