Gained some new insights for sure Dr. All the years this type of health information is so under exposed to American society as a whole. Good on you and Ben for getting on a project. Many sciences, like hypnosis, seems to have been kept in the grey science area and we seem so far behind. Thank you for the upload.
Good talk, minor confusion at end. HRV increases as heart health/resilience increases, and decreases as heart health declines (Dr. D’Amico reversed this). I’m a clinical health psychologist, board certified in biofeedback and applied psychophysiology, use HRV monitoring and training as part of my practice, and regularly see improvements in health and well being as a person learns to increase and regulate HRV. There are many simple home training systems available for doing this, including free apps for smart phones that take advantage of the phone camera to feedback HRV using blood pulse measurement through a finger over the camera.
