What a disappointing circumstance (depending on your perspective) – we keep having factors drop in and out of relevance and strength. Coronal hole: even weaker than before. Planets: only 24 hours more of top relevance. Spaceweather: main impact missed earth (CH).
Solar Notes: Do you remember how we described these sunspots when they crested into view? Either we were going to get a major uptick in solar flaring or a sure sign that the sun was unable to reproduce the flaring of previous cycles, and perhaps be on the path to solar grand minimum. I must admit, I find little to make me think otherwise. All signs on the sun point to a 70 year nap on our doorstep.
