Those conjunction snuck up on us… myself included, especially because most are not geocentric. The solar wind jolts are, admittedly, curious. It may be the lack of speed, but these shocks should still be doing more to our shield. In 3 years of earthquake prediction I have never used such shocks before… never seen them, but then again… “nobody alive has ever seen such a weak solar cycle” -A.
