Update #2: 6:05pm Eastern Time

Earthquake watch score: 5 to 7. Right now the need for pressure release is all that keeps this watch above 5, and my uncertainty about exactly what happens beneath our feet (I have no crystal ball) causes the variance tonight.

Solar Notes: Apart from the solar wind density and the developing sunspots, the northern filament could erupt anytime… it is likely to release north, but anything can happen. An earth-directed eruption from that spot could produce a kp of 5 or 6 and could give a great auroral show.
