The Mercury/Sun conjunction begins to be effective (happens perfectly in 48 hours). The coronal hole is in 3-5 days of direct earth influence. The stream associated is expected to cause geomagnetic activity. If not for the moderate/weak force of the opening, the watch would be elevated.
Everyone check the Mobile Observatory page for a tentative schedule. If you want to help get involved in your area, we are ideally looking for large areas where we could park the RV and gather with others. Picnic pavilions seems perfect – lots of space, cover if it rains, not expensive to reserve. I’d love some help (on the earlier stops if possible).
