Mars-Earth-Uranus provides a minor opposition today – the real story is this weekend when Mercury heads behind the sun. The next coronal hole is transequatorial and incoming. The main factor in determining the actual condition index during the following 6 days will be the coronal hole power.
Everyone check the Mobile Observatory page for a tentative schedule. If you want to help get involved in your area, we are ideally looking for large areas where we could park the RV and gather with others. Picnic pavilions seems perfect – lots of space, cover if it rains, not expensive to reserve. I’d love some help (on the earlier stops if possible).
